Last day of the year!

well, after quite a few days of jetlags, with us sleeping before dinner, waking up to get something to eat around 11, and then sleeping again till the morning, we did some longgg walking today!

We went to the Inari shrine, which has a long path of Torii gates:

we took a longer route, off the normal path, in a bamboo forest. it was very quiet and very pretty, but we ended up walking the whole path up the mountain. it was very straining for us who dont really work out, but we made it!

tonight were gonna go find another awesome place to enjoy new years, but now its time for our bath after the trip up and down the mountain!

Yesterday we enjoyed a long stay at the public bath house. we fell in love with it and were certainly gonna go to more bath houses! it was our last night at Guest house Yahata,

from today on well be staying in budget inn. its a very pretty room with a tatami floor and were all sleeping aside on the floor :D

well, its time to take a bath and get ready for new years eve, later on well update more!

Ok I have no idea how this works... So here goes!

Hiya!
After a long long long! flight, we finally arrived in Osaka. None of us actually slept very well, but nonetheless we were psyched! Finding the way to Kyoto was hard though xD so halfway one of us decided to take a nap (guess who xD) We found it eventually! On our way we were also desperatly looking for an atm that would take our cards xD it seems only Japan bank takes our card and of course, we couldn`t find any! So stressed out, hoping we would be able to at least pay for our stay, we found one! In what`s called a Yuubinkyoku or aka post office. :P after that we headed to our guest house. The owners are super kind! after we got settled in we were going to eat some ramen (noodles) but instead we fell asleep xD. Now It`s 11 pm and I just had my dinner xD Jet lag!! Our room by the way is small but cozy, we`ve got bunkbeds made of a futon on the floor, and another one in some iron frame xD crazy but fun! Well that`s it for tonight! I`ve run out of exciting events to tell so tomorrow again!

Preparation!

Hello! Welcome to our awesome blog.

So you probably already know Jeroen, Floor, Anienta and I will be going to Japan tomorrow, since we've probably told the whole world cuz we're so excited!

This blog will give you an insight to what we're up to while we're far away, as we plan to update this blog every now and then :D

Right now I'm printing out every reservation, packing my stuff, updating my MP3 etc. and ofcourse trying to check in for our flight, which will leave at 14;30 tomorrow, the usual business before a long trip :)

We will arrive 9:40AM local time in Osaka (it will be about 1:40AM in CET) and we'll be on our way to the first guesthouse of Kyoto, Guesthouse Yahata!
